Hi reader
I'd love to know how you're finding the new format of these emails. Open rates are good (50%+) and I am aiming to provide a variety of content - something for everyone perhaps.
However, any feedback you can give will be very gratefully received.
Your selection of things for this week:
This week, in robotsSome interesting developments in humanoid robots including the updated Figure 02 (X) on BMW's production line and Kim Kardashian's meetup with the Tesla Bot (IG). Nothing yet to match up with the ED-209 from Robocop (phew). For me it does beg the question: Why are we so fixed on making robots that resemble humans? |
Carry on interviewingCustomer interviews are a fabulous tool for helping businesses to connect with customers and find new ways to grow. Here are some tips to get you up and running and improve your technique. |
Sc@mmers, beware!O2 have, quite brilliantly, created an AI Granny called Daisy who is targeting scammers and seems to be frustrating the hell out of them by mimicking a tech-illiterate pensioner. It's worth checking out this video. Go Daisy! |
💡Idea💡 Time swapI've often wondered why it is so much harder to review and spot issues in my own business than it is with other people's. Things like reviewing website copy, getting feedback on a new idea etc. Funny then that it turns out to be an actual thing - its' called 'Solomon’s Paradox' (h/t to Katelyn Bourgoin). So if you are feeling the same way and you'd be up for swapping some time to help each other out, let me know. |
Bristol event 'How to find and keep a top team' rescheduledIf the topic of finding and retaining talent is relevant to you and you weren't able to make the 'Smart Cookies' event in Bristol on Dec 5th then - good news! - the event has been rescheduled for the end of Feb. Should be a good one, I am looking forward to it. |
